NADIA LY

Nadia Ly, with her love for all things fun and fabulous, has established a reputation of distinction in event management.  She specializes in offering a fresh flair and positive approach to modern design concepts.  Nadia is known for her meticulous planning and a passion for perfection.

Prior to starting Creations by Ly, Nadia worked in consulate affairs at the Royal Thai Honorary Consulate General.  She then moved on to media working for Comcast Spotlight, then the environmental organization Metafore (now GreenBlue). She is also the founding Portland Chapter President of Wish Upon a Wedding, a nonprofit organization that provides weddings and vow renewals to couples facing terminal illness or other serious life-altering circumstances.

In her free time, Nadia enjoys fine wine and great meals with family and friends; vacations to sunny or tropical locales, and knowing each day is another successful day.  Her motto – “life lived well”.

JIA LAYMAN

Jia Layman, an Oregon native, has been with Creations by Ly from inception.  She is known for providing support wherever assistance is needed, and instrumental in shaping the company’s reputation it has today.  With her professionalism and attention to detail, Jia has proven herself to be a knowledgeable event manager.  In the chaos of event planning she is the calm amidst the storm.

Prior to joining the company, Jia worked for a small family owned business for 12 years where she assisted the company in growing from 35 employees to 75 employees.  Policy and procedure creation, human resource management and event planning were just a few of the many hats she wore at Construction Equipment Company.

Jia earned her bachelor’s degree in International Business from Oregon State University.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending Beaver football games, vacations to sunny destinations and volunteering for worthwhile causes when not planning an event.
